When you use PDFDunia, we collect minimal data essential to providing our document utility services:
Account Information: If you register an account, we collect your name, email address, and hashed authentication credentials.
Usage Metrics & Telemetry: Aggregated, anonymized statistics such as tool interaction counts, error logs, and performance metrics to ensure uptime and optimize processing speed.
Cookies: Functional session cookies used for authentication and remembering your UI preferences.
2. How We Handle Uploaded Files
When you select a file for conversion or editing:
Files are transmitted over encrypted HTTPS (TLS 1.3).
Processing happens in RAM memory or localized WebAssembly client engines.
Once processed, download links expire and memory blocks are immediately recycled.
No backups or long-term snapshots of user document contents are ever maintained for guest tools.
